A PALAVRA DE DEUS

Lição 04

Como você nasceu de novo, precisa agora de alinhamento genuíno para crescer espiritualmente. Aliás,, uma das características de quem já nasceu de novo é desejar ardentemente alimentar-se da Palavra de Deus (I Pe 2.2). a Bíblia nos fornece este alimento genuíno. Ela não é um livro de religião como os demais. Como, veremos, ela é a Palavra de Deus! Seguindo os seus ensinamentos, debaixo da liderança do Senhor Jesus Cristo e do Espírito Santo, estaremos nos moldando ao estilo de vida que Deus requer de nós.

I – A COMPOSIÇÃO DA BÍBLIA E SUA MENSAGEM CENTRAL

O termo Bíblia é de origem grega e significa livros. De fato, a Bíblia é formada por 66 livros. Esses livros foram escritos num período de 1500 anos, por aproximadamente 40 autores. Todos eles foram inspirados pelo Espírito Santo. Eles não registraram as suas opiniões, mas a vontade de Deus. Assim sendo, a Bíblia é a Palavra de Deus. Outros nomes também usados para designar a Bíblia são: Escrituras (Jo 5.39); Palavra de Deus, Espada do Espírito (Ef 6.17) etc.

II – A NATUREZA DA BÍBLIA

Vários fatores são importantes em relação à natureza da Bíblia:

Suas peculiaridades: a Bíblia é singular:
Na sua unidade: apesar de escrita em um período de mais ou menos 1500 anos, por vários autores diferentes, que vivem em épocas diferentes, os textos bíblicos não se contradizem, mas se completam, abrangendo os assuntos mais controvertidos. Os autores escreveram em épocas de paz e de guerra. Alguns eram homens cultos e outros homens simples. Entretanto, do começo ao fim da Bíblia, há uma unidade perfeita, uma seqüência lógica e conclusiva;
Na sua continuidade: ela trata das coisas desde a sua origem. As narrativas bíblicas tratam do passado, do presente e do futuro, em uma narrativa contínua e seqüencial. Cada livro completa o anterior em uma seqüência perfeita;
Na sua circulação: em 200 anos, mais de 2 bilhões de exemplares foram distribuídos ou vendidos. É o livro mais lido de todos os tempos;
Na sua tradução: atualmente, a Bíblia já foi traduzida para aproximadamente 1500 línguas e dialetos;
Na sua sobrevivência: nada tem destruído a Bíblia. É um livro que foi criticado, rasgado, queimado, proibido, mas nem isto impediu que chegasse a nós. Tem sido pesquisada pela arqueologia e a própria arqueologia a tem confirmado e não negado. Ela é a indestrutível Palavra de Deus (I Pe. 1:24,25);
Na sua exatidão: a quantidade enorme de manuscritos provam a sua exatidão. Podemos ter absoluta certeza quando à vericidade do conteúdo da Bíblia (Jo. 10:35b);
Nos seus ensinos: o Novo Testamento completa o Velho. Os seus ensinos são preciosos e exatos. Tudo o que o Velho Testamento disse sobre Jesus, por exemplo, cumpriu-se no Novo;
Nos seus relatos históricos: a arqueologia e a história comprovam a veridicidade dos relatos bíblicos;
Nas suas citações: é um livro mais comentado e citado nu mundo todo;
Na sua atualidade: é um livro antigo, mas ao mesmo tempo atual e relevante para os nossos dias. Ela nunca se torna um livro superado. É tão atual com os jornais diários. A Bíblia trata dos assuntos básicos da vida do homem do Século XX.

III – REVELAÇÃO DA VONTADE DE DEUS

Através dela, Deus revelou a Sua vontade (revelação quer dizer Deus se mostrando ao homem). Deus se revelou através dos seguintes instrumentos:

1 – da sua criação – o Salmo 19:1-6 – fala que os céus proclamam a glória de Deus. A própria natureza revela Deus. Veja também Rm. 1:18-20;
2 – do testemunho da nossa consciência (Rm. 2:15);
3 – da Bíblia e do Seu Filho Jesus Cristo (Jo. 1:1-2,14).

A revelação plena de Deus está em Sua Palavra e em Jesus Cristo (Hb. 1:1-4).

“não precisamos de outras fontes de conhecimento sobre Deus, como por exemplo, consultar os mortos (Is. 8:19-20), horóscopos, cartomantes, etc. Todas essas cosias são contrárias à Palavra de Deus e, consequentemente, proibidas por Ele (Dt. 18:9-14)

IV – A BÍBLIA:
1.      é divinamente inspirada (II Tm. 3:16; II Pe. 1:20-21);
2.      é completa (Ap. 22:18-19);
3.      é verdadeira (Jo. 17:17);
4.      é viva (Hb. 4:12).

A Bíblia toda é inspirada por Deus. Inspiração significa que Deus orientou os homens e fez com que a revelação chegasse até nós sem erros.

V – OBJETIVOS OU FINALIDADES DA BÍBLIA

1 – testificar de Jesus (Jo. 5:38-39);
2 – torna-se pessoas sábias para a salvação e crescimento pela fé em Cristo (II Tm. 3:15 e Jo. 20:30-31);
3 – ensinar os princípios de Deus (itens 3,4,5 e 6: II Tm. 3:16);
4 – repreendermos o erro (II Tm 3:16);
5 – corrigir-nos, mostrar-nos o caminho da verdade;
6 – educar-nos na Justiça;
7 – advertir-nos (I Co. 10:10-12);
8 – dar-nos esperança (Rm. 15-4);
9 – trazer-nos alegria, gozo, sabedoria e entendimento (Sl. 19:7-10);
10 – preservar-nos do erro (Sl. 119:92);
11 – purificar-nos (Jo.15:3);
12 – sustentar-nos nas dificuldades (Sl. 119:92);
13 – levar-nos à maturidade (itens 12, 13 e 14: II Tm 3:17);
14 – equipar-nos para a vida;
15 – levar-nos a prática (Sl. 119:4).

VI – NOSSAS ATITUDES EM RELAÇÃO À BÍBLIA

1 – devemos desejar ardentemente a Palavra de Deus (I Pd. 2:2);
2 – devemos amar a Palavra de Deus (Sl. 119:127);
3 – devemos conhecer a Palavra de Deus (os. 4:6). Como? Ouvindo, lendo, estudando, memorizando e meditando;
4 – devemos crer na Palavra de Deus:

porque “nem uma só palavra falhou de todas as suas promessas” – I Rs. 8:56;
porque a “Palavra do Senhor permanecerá para sempre” (Lc. 21:33);
porque “Deus não pode mentir “ (Tt. 1:12).

Devemos praticar a Palavra de Deus (Tg. 1:22), comunicando também a outros os seus princípios (II Tm. 2:2). É a sua Palavra que nos faz crescer e alcançar a maturidade cristã, levando-nos a viver uma vida sem inconstância ou derrota.

Ø  Memorize: “Jesus, porém, respondeu: está escrito não só de pão viverá o homem, mas de todo palavra que procede da boca de Deus” (Mt. 4:4)

She is not a religion book as the others. As, we will see, she is the Word of God! Following your teachings, under Mr. Jesus Christ's leadership and of the Espírito Santo, we will be us molding to the lifestyle that God requests of us.  
  
I - THE COMPOSITION OF THE BIBLE AND YOUR CENTRAL MESSAGE  
  
The term Bible is of Greek origin and it means books. In fact, the Bible is formed by 66 books. Those books were written in a period of 1500 years, for approximately 40 authors. All of them were inspired for the Espírito Santo. They didn't register your opinions, but the will of God. Like this being, the Bible is the Word of God. Other names also used to designate the Bible they are: Deeds (Jô 5.39); Word of God, Sword of the Spirit (Ef 6.17) etc.  
  
II - THE NATURE OF THE BIBLE  
  
Several factors are important in relation to the nature of the Bible:  
  
Your peculiarities: the Bible is singular:  
In your unit: in spite of written in a period of more or less 1500 years, by several different authors, that they live in different times, the biblical texts are not contradicted, but they are completed, embracing the subjects more controverted. The authors wrote in peace times and of war. Some were educated men and other simple men. However, from beginning to end of the Bible, there is a perfect unit, a logical and conclusive sequence;  
In your continuity: she treats of the things from your origin. The biblical narratives treat of the past, of the present and of the future, in a continuous narrative. Each book completes the previous in a perfect sequence;  
In your circulation: in 200 years, more than 2 billion copies were distributed or sold. It is the read book of all the times;  
In your translation: nowadays, the Bible was already translated for approximately 1500 languages and dialects;  
In your survival: nothing has been destroying the Bible. It is a book that was criticized, torn, burned, forbidden, but nor this impeded that arrived to us. It has been researched by the archaeology and the own archaeology has been confirming her and not denied. She is the indestructible Word of God (I Pé. 1:24,25);  
In your accuracy: the enormous amount of manuscripts proves your accuracy. We can be absolute sure when to the thrue of the content of the Bible (Jô. 10:35b);  
In your teachings: the New Testament completes the Old. Your teachings are precious and exact. Everything that the Old Testament said on Jesus, for instance, came true in the New;  
In your historical reports: the archaeology and the history prove the thrue of the biblical reports;  
In your citations: it is a book more commented and mentioned nude whole world;  
In your present time: it is a book old, but at the same time current and important for our days. She becomes never an overcome book. It is so current with the daily newspapers. The Bible deals with the basic matters of the man's of the Century life XX.  
  
III - REVELATION OF GOD'S WILL  
  
Through her, God revealed Your will (revelation means God if showing to the man). God was revealed through the following instruments:  
  
1 - of your creation - the Psalm 19:1-6 - he speaks that the skies proclaim the glory of God. The own nature reveals God. Also see Rm. 1:18-20;  
2 - of the testimony of our conscience (Rm. 2:15);  
3 - of the Bible and of Your Filho Jesus Cristo (Jô. 1:1-2,14).  
  
The full revelation of God is in Your Word and in Jesus Cristo (Hb. 1:1-4).  
  
we didn't " need other knowledge sources on God, as for instance, to consult the deads (I. 8:19-20), horoscopes, fortune telling, etc. All those you sewed they are contrary to the Word of God and, consequently, forbidden for Him (Dt. 18:9-14)  
  
IV - THE BIBLE:  
1. it is inspired holing (II Tm. 3:16; II Pé. 1:20-21);  
2. it is complete (Ap. 22:18-19);  
3. it is true (Jô. 17:17);  
4. it is alive (Hb. 4:12).  
  
The Bible all is inspired for God. Inspiration means that God guided the men and he did with that the revelation arrived even us without mistakes.  
  
V - OBJECTIVES OR PURPOSES OF THE BIBLE  
  
1 - to testify of Jesus (Jô. 5:38-39);  
2 - he becomes wise people for the salvation and growth for the faith in Christ (II Tm. 3:15 and Jô. 20:30-31);  
3 - to teach the beginnings of God (items 3,4,5 and 6: II TM. 3:16);  
4 - we reprehend the mistake (II Tm 3:16);  
5 - to correct, to show us the road of the truth;  
6 - to educate us in the Justice;  
7 - to can be seen (I Co. 10:10-12);  
8 - to give in the hope (Rm. 15-4);  
9 - to bring in the happiness, joy, wisdom and understanding (Sl. 19:7-10);  
10 - to preserve us of the mistake (Sl. 119:92);  
11 - to become purified (Jo.15:3);  
12 - to sustain us in the difficulties (Sl. 119:92);  
13 - to take us to the maturity (items 12, 13 and 14: II TM 3:17);  
14 - to equip us for the life;  
15 - to take us the practice (Sl. 119:4).  
  
I SAW - OUR ATTITUDES IN RELATION TO THE BIBLE  
  
1 - we should want the Word of God hotly (I Pd. 2:2);  
2 - we should love the Word of God (Sl. 119:127);  
3 - should we meet the Word of God (the. 4:6). How? Hearing, reading, studying, memorizing and meditating;  
4 - we should have faith in the Word of God:  
  
because " nor only one word failed of all your promises " - I Rs. 8:56;  
because the Word of the Mister it will stay forever " (Lc. 21:33);  
because " God cannot lie " (Tt. 1:12).  
  
We should practice the Word of God (Tg. 1:22), also communicating the other ones your beginnings (II Tm. 2:2). it is your Word that makes to increase us and to reach the Christian maturity, taking us to live a life without inconstancy or it defeats.  
  
Memorizes: " Jesus, however, he answered: it is written not only of bread the man will live, but of every word that comes from the mouth of God " (Mt. 4:4)
